he was an interesting super-villain, not as good as the Joker in the Dark Night, but still pretty awesome and engaging.

The reason I like Loki is because his character is actually really deep. At some points you can't help but feel bad for him. Especially after watching Thor. :)

I agree! And I love the fact that he is actually pretty funny in the Avengers, and even kind of in Thor. He's not a black and white bad guy, he has believable feelings.

also, if by God he means true god, as defined by world of warcraft lore, he can still be right, as in WoW there are countless demi-gods but only one "true" god
