Can somebody give me some English Extended Essay suggestions? :S We can't do children's/Young Adult books, nor can we do overdone books like books by jane austen, george orwell, jd salinger...etc. :S

@Kristen: Same here. Minus the math part. :) All I know if I'm working on a project right now and lost all the information I had done for the past two and a half hours. >:0

Well, technically, I'm not in IB yet, as I'm a sophomore. But I'm in my school's pre-IB program, and I'm taking Math Studies SL this year, so maybe? :)

I'm in my last year of IB, in fact finals in less than a month, and I'd just like to say that the concept of ToK is great, but it's stupid how it's marked. That's how I think anyway, but everyone's different I guess!

IB's only a problem for the unorganised, (which I am, sadly) but in the end, I found it heaps enjoyable, so if you're considering doing it, do it! Our school allowed us to drop out so yeah, nothing to lose :)

@Frances - The study guide is good in some subjects and not great in others. We were forced to buy the English and Sciences ones (Chem and Physics for me) and to be honest, the English one is useless, in my opinion. The Chem and Physics ones are pretty useful actually. But that's just my opinion. :)

Yeah, I'm a sophomore, too, Maggie! Taking this last year of freedom as sort of a "me" year...only taking one college-level class and I plan to spend my free time doing tons of creative stuff...

I'm in Pre-IB as a freshman, because state requirements don't comply with IB or something...I don't know, somehow I'm taking AP World History. Loving it so far...they give the Pre-IB kids here the best teachers and all the students seem awesome.

Loving the Brotherhood 2.0 IB kids idea!

Imagine something like brotherhood 2.0 with IB kids from across the globe? Just my mind running haywire while I'm procrastinating on my extended essay. But it would be fun... and slightly crazy.

I'm about to go into the full program next year, and I'm wondering whether or not to buy the study guide, or "course companion" for each subject. They aren't mandatory at my school, so not many people do. They're quite expensive, so I don't want to bother if it won't be worth it. Do you think it's worth buying them?
