I'm going to donate some of my old books to a charity called Books on Wheels here in Richmond that gives books out for free to children who wouldn't already have them. I'm planning on filming them in action for the 2009 P4A. =D

I think we should move the date to after the Project For Awesome. We could make videos spreading awareness for the project. =D

Oh goodness! I just realized it's almost time for in your donated pants weekend! I think most of the group members forgot. Maybe we should move the date until we get more support?

I would try and do some last minute campaigning but I'm sick with pneumonia right now and not really feeling up to making a video.

But I did manage to collect quite a few pants!

Sounds neat, let me know when you have it going and I'll check out your videos!

But I have another pants idea! Write DFTBA on a slip of paper and stick it in the pocket. I was going to say use a sharpie and put it on the tag, but this might leech into the fabric. If anybody is good at embroidery you could stitch it in. Just find some way to tell the wearer 'DFTBA!'.

What do you think?

lol yea it's a harry potter reference.
and it's okay if you haven't read it. heck, i didn't read it until i moved to louisiana (june) and we had no idea where anything was so i had alot of time on my hands.
but now i love it and mine and 9 other people's love for it has inspired a youtube collab that we may be starting soon :D

Haha, I'm ashamed to say this but I've never read Harry Potter :(. And I think that was a reference to it.

And nah, that's not bad ;)

you're welcome!
good luck with your book-sorting!
P.S. Is it bad that i just imagined you putting the sorting hat on top of each book and it yelling "(enter book title here), SLYTHERIN!(or other house name!)"?
haha

Thanks, I usually did it by author but I have Teen/ Young adult novels, History books, Science books, auto biographies, how to's, self help, crafting, etc. But I made an account on Librarything, it's a neat site. Thanks for the help!

i'm not exactly sure how to organize a home library, seeing as i don't have enough books yet (but i would love to have that many!) but from what i read on mentalfloss.com you could use librarything to catalog your books (free for up to 200 books, then 25 for a lifetime membership if you have more than that) and you could always use the dewey decimal system or the library of congress's way of organizing their books or organizing alphabetically (i'd do it by author)

Sounds perfect!
I've collected 4 pairs of pants so far, but I still have to go through all the clothes that I wore until I was like 10. I'm clueless as to why my mom kept them.
And I know I shouldn't really be asking this in our discussion, but does anybody have any tips as to how to organize a home library?
