That is a great idea! I think that would be the best way to do this type of thing as we all live in different places across the world.

yes! i love that idea. i have writen radio scripts for other acting groups. the trick will be that we will need a sound editor.

Actually, why make it with animation or puppets at all, we could simply make as a radio drama, just dialogue, music and sound effects. We could give it an old feel, make it seem like it might be a show that was on the radio in back in the days before tv. The advantage is that as long as the voice actors have microphones with identical quality everyone can record their lines in their own time (time zones and personal schedules are usually a big problem with internet projects) and then everything can be edited together afterwards.

I started listening to a radio drama recently and I love it, I love that you get to image the action in your head rather then seeing.

I'm busy at the moment, with my thesis, but once I'm done with that, at the end of august, I'll start to work on trying to write us a script

Also apparently one of the Doctor Who comics from last year, I think it's called Planet Bollywood, features a robotic statue a makes people sing and dance like they are in a bollywood production. If anyone here finds this comic online or out in the real world, post it here, as it's pretty much what we are going for and should be great as something we can adapt for our script.

@Plottoberry Speaking as someone who co-wrote the pilot for a web series and followed a few over the years, including the behind the scenes, I can tell you a web series is not an easy thing to make, there's casting, location scouting, schedule conflicts (trying to do anything with people on a very different time zone is a female canine), etc. To give you an idea, the competition I was writing my pilot for offered 500 pounds to the winners, because that's how much they estimated they would spend making it.

I think the easiest way to avoid this would be to do it either with puppets or animation, as that cuts most of the things i mentioned before, and it could look cool.

Guys, guys. I think the best idea is to make it a YouTube series.

Well you can still help us with things like, picking the plot, writing the script, writing the songs, designing the costumes, all those intellectual steps that come before putting on a physical show and none of which we have accomplished yet

Oh my gosh, this is the greatest idea ever in the history of the universe!!!!!! I've often though that it would be cool to make a Doctor Who musical! I would love to be a part of this but unfortunately I live in the absolute middle of nowhere, so yeah...
