Money? 6 Replies

First of all we would need a budget. Second of all if we are sending money to charity, that would mean we have to have an admission price. Also we need to keep a persentage so we can still travel and…Continue

For the time being we aren't thinking about the where or who (the when is the 23 of November), there is no point if we don't actually have a play to perform, so we will focus on those once we have the full script and songs. Even if in the end we can't get a group of nerdfighters together to perform it we can still post the script online, get the word out that it exists and hopefully other fans will pick it up and perform it.

I have written in my head a small statement explaining in what spirit this was made, and asking people to please perform it for charity as we intended, to be placed before the script if we end up putting it online.

Where are you planning on performing this?  Because I'm not interested in performing (trust me, you don't want me to act or sing or dance on stage) but I would love to still be a part of this.  I don't know if this is premature or whatever, but I would love to help out with backstage stuff (like, stage manager/scene changer/whatever).  But I'm poor and live in Canada, so I can't get very far from here, or for very long.

If there's anything else I can do, let me know, okay?

At some point, I think we were talking about getting everyone together to do it for a conference, The Final Battle style.

Are we going to act it out ourselves? Or will we try to find a theater troupe that'd be into this idea and cooperate with them? Because we're all over the place.

I think we should also create a facebook page for this project, it might bring in people who a great idea for it for years but just didn't think about actually doing it.

As for contacting you tubers like in the last project, we will leave that until a time when we know the project is headed the right way and has a slim change of failure

Guys something came and I'll be pretty busy until 15 of April. Please go on a ahead without me, start choosing the script and comment on which ideas we'll choose use or not, I'll still comment whether or not I agree with what's being discussed, I just don't have the time spend hours trying to come up with new ideas.

That would be so much fun!

I am totally down for that. Finding low-budget solutions that don't suck are my favorite pastime.

@Arodhwen you seem to be the one here with more actual theatrical experience, so could also serve as our theatrical adviser, tell us what would and wouldn't work in an actual stage context. Cause I have never been in a play and haven't watched one in ages (although I do plan on watching more to get as research for our musical) , so transposing our script from its sci-fi format into something that actually works on a stage could be difficult for me.
