It was AoK. Balls. I have exams to write and study for, but just wanted the group to know. I'll be reading it after the exam period is over... which is this Friday.

I'm game for being in a new Traveling Book Project! Sounds like loads of fun!

We should totally start our own. I like the idea of a youtube channel, or at least a youtube video from each person, but I know not everyone does or likes doing youtube videos, so maybe we could accept at least a blog entry/discussion forum post-update-type-thingy from each person once they receive the book? Just an idea.

What do you think?

Oh I should announce in regards to the now old Traveling Book Project that I've had a delayed package notification send to my house from Canada Post about two weeks ago, and I have the sneaking suspicion that it's AoK.
Yeah I haven't had time to pick it up yet, due to essays and my exams next week. But I'll keep you guys updated?

Wanna start our own Traveling Book Club for those of us unfortunate enough to have not have known about this one when it started? I'm sure we can round up plenty of people who would want to participate and this sounds like a cool way to connect with some nerdfighters! Maybe even make a YouTube channel and each person who gets the book has to post a video with the book or something...

Amanda/Bryce is right, when we originally started we had a cut off date and after that cut off date was passed, no one else could join. As it is, with the amount of people in the group now, the project will take about two years.

I hate saying no to people who want to participate in a project like this, but I'm not sure if everyone in the group is okay with an indefinite timeline and an uncertain ending date. But, as seen as you two are interested in participating in a traveling book project (and I'm sure others will be as well), I highly suggest starting one! They're really fun :D. If you need any help organizing it or just want suggestions, post an SOS on this groups wall and I know one of us will be glad to help you out. Feel free to message me if you'd like a more detailed explanation of this project (I know Amanda/Bryce posted a sweet and concise summary of the project several posts below this one).
