What does your url mean? Or how did you come up with it?

My url is actualcannibalfayeza

Came up with that name because my nickname (for my Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi) is Fayeza (which has a ton of meanings, one of which Doctor Who related and all the rest are mostly musical or Fraternity-specific), but someone else had that url, and I wanted to incorporate it in my url. So since I was (still am) very obsessed with the Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf song, I thought this up and thought it was hysterical (though it's not really that funny).

So how about all of you lovely people? :)

I started Tumblring in 2009 and I never thought I'd be posting original content I just thought I'd be following and reblogging so my name is followandreblog.tumblr.com. Have not changed it since. Though people not familiar with Tumblr think it's followANDREblog.tumblr.com like I'm asking them to follow Andre or something.

my url is lifehasdragons. It comes from a quote from the 4th Harry Potter film at the very end where Ron says "Well, what's life without a few dragons?" and I always thought that was a really great statement and metaphor and it's my "mantra" is you will and so it's my youtube, too, and everything and my url.

my URL is a-loner. I'm terrible at coming up with usernames and URLs and the like so I was staring at the screen for a good 10 minutes before finally picking a-loner, because at the time i was slightly friendless...but also because it was the first blog i wasn't going to tell anyone i knew about haha :)

my name is scienceandengineeringgirl.  I have this fairly straightforward url for three reasons: 1) after a year of being referred to as a "girl engineer" with air quotes by people, I decided to just start owning the label and make it something positive.  2) my previous url was "culturedhippie" because I used to be really into both literature and "hippie" things like meditation and new age music and stuff like that, but I've basically done a 180 and now rarely read fun books (which I desperately miss) and just don't have as much of an interest in characteristically "hippie" things.  3) I know how hard it is to be a girl engineer and I want to make it painfully obvious to other girl engineers that they have an automatic friend in me.

I stole this from a Wheel of Time book, cannot for the life of me remember which one, and in it the main character is discussing his duty, being the main hero 'n' all, and someone says to him, "Death is lighter than a feather, duty heavier than a mountain." Which I think is wonderful. It turns out that it an ancient Japanese proverb of some sorts, but I liked it better in the book :3

My thing is DowntownAwesome. It actually started when I wanted to make a creative name for my Twitter. I was really into The Lonely Island at the time, so I wanted to do something like "AwesomeTown". That wasn't creative enough so I wanted to do "DowntownAwesometown" but that was too many characters. I ended up just shortening it a bit so it fit, and DowntownAwesome stuck. I now use it everywhere (Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.)

I've also had a few other URLS, from when I was freaking out about my blog name and had to change it far too often. I don't actually remember what any of those were though....

I realise that sounds like i'm a prostitute or something :L, but Curbside Prophet is one of my favourite songs (Jason Mraz) and that was already taken so i just changed the word/meaning :')

It's a Buffy reference. Willow's Yellow Crayon comes from the S6 finalé, where Xander talks to Willow about when they were young and she cried over her broken yellow crayon. I really love Buffy and I really love Willow so yeah.
