Veg*n Nerdfighters, Represent!

It makes me so happy that this group exists! I was beginning to feel like the different vegan/geek parts of my personality were too different but of course it makes sense that nerdfighters, committed to reducing worldsuck, would have veg*n representatives!

My friend and I want to do a parody called "Vegan Gamer Girls", to show vegns have multiple interests, and have lines like "vegan gamer girls, we're unbelievable, we all know that soy tastes best" and "nerdfighters, represent! we aim to fight worldsuck!" :D

So anywho, DFTBA!

Haha that sounds like such an awesome idea!! I am vegetarian, but I am hoping to become vegan once I move out. :)

Are your parents really against it? That sucks. I found my mum came around when I served some delicious food I'd cooked myself. :)

Oh not at all, when I stopped eating meat barely anything changed cause my family barely eats meat to begin with. It's just I know that my mom is the only one sort of into Veganism. As for my dad and my brother, heath wise they need to eat meat and dairy. Vegetarian and vegan diets just won't work for them. As a family we always eat together so I don't want to mess with everyone else's meals even more than I already have, just out of courtesy.

My wife is a great cook, and she's rising to the challenge of supporting our girls who have chosen vegetarianism. So... Just saw "Forks over Knives" on Netflix. Guess I'm a vegan Now. HELP! Must find flavor rewards for what I'm halting.
