Hi Jess! It's pretty much a sandwich shop. It has soups and a few other things too, but I mostly associate it with sandwiches. My lit friends and I were tickled by choices like Scottish smoked salmon and prawn with rockets, mostly because we're easily amused. And yes, we were over there for a Wordsworth/William Blake/Dickens/C.S. Lewis/Harry Potter/insert more Britishy things, study abroad. Have you ever done a study abroad?

I'm in Maryland, but I've been spending more time in D.C. lately. I blame Union Station for that. There's a Pret-A-Manger there. I thought they only had those in the U.K., so I did a very public happy dance and vowed to return no less than once a month.

'Sup. I just graduated and moved out to Alexandria a few months ago. I blow into DC every once in a while, but if anyone wants to explore Old Town with me, applicants are encouraged.

I'm at AU too!  Well, WCL, so I'm right down the hill from AU's main campus. I live in Northwest, but need to expand my D.C. horizons. Suggestions for cool things to do are always welcome.

Hi guys!  I don't know if another DC group exists... but I didn't find it.  If there's another group, lead me there please!

I attend AU, hang out a lot in Dupont and Adams Morgan and Eastern Market, and maybe one day we'll meet up in one of those places.
