232<226 item?

Okay, Am I the only one whos getting fairly annoyed with the way blizz has screwed around items? I got a level 232 head piece from 10 man Ony the other day and my tier 8.5 (item level 226) was better. I would have lost about 650 mana not to mention my 8.5 set bonus. Silly me for thinking that a 232 item would be better than a 226 item. QQ.

item level hardly compensates for actual usefulness i find that wen i have to give up a tier piece i think "do i rely on this set bonus alot?" either this or "will my gear be entirely upgraded soon?"(as in big patch like the release of ToC and ICC) i would honestly take it, play around with it if u rlly notice a drastic drop is performance u still have the old piece....this post is obviously obsolete with the new expansion however this decision making system still works, hope u enjoy :)
