Permalink Reply by Chaelin Weasley on May 2, 2012 at 12:49pm Yay! :) Do you have any ideas so far? (Or you can just comment or whatnot.)
Permalink Reply by Erin Hoffman on May 4, 2012 at 12:28pm yeah, i do! i'm writing in the YA genre, and i wanted to do a book that's basically about kids who think they're smarter than they are, which poses a problem when they have to deal with issues that are way over their heads. (omg that was so vague)
your nano sounds so interesting! what part of peter pan are you, for lack of a better word, spinning off?
Permalink Reply by Chaelin Weasley on May 4, 2012 at 12:34pm I like yours. Kids I know are like that so... but YA for me too.
Uh, basically, it's in modern times and with the present day Darlings (Annie, Will, and George) who are orphans. Then, Hook has a son who managed to find his way to Neverland after his father died. But, Hook wants to go back to Earth so he's poisoning the minds of the children- getting rid of the innocent and happy thoughts that keep Neverland running- which poses a problem as Peter is now aging because the magic has stopped. Peter then goes to Earth trying to find Wendy because he needs her help but ends up getting Annie, her brothers, and a couple of boys (who become the Lost Boys) and they have to stop Hook. I'm still working out the details but that's it.
