National Novel Writing Month!!

So... who else is doing NaNoWriMo? (NaNoWriMo is a literary marathon of sorts; if you'd like to check it out, please see this site: http://www.nanowrimo.org/)

If you are participating this year, leave your username in the comments - I wanna know how my fellow writer nerdfighters are surviving the month! =)

Mine is frostie, in case anyone wanted to check up on me - but I warn you now: I plan on jumping head-first into this on the 1st of November without a clue as to what I'm going to write. It's completely insane (with school and all), and I may cry, but it will be epic!

Nothing serious 'course, but it was good last year to have people there that would encourage you to keep going or not to give up when I fell behind.

I've joined NaNoWriMo, but this is the 2nd year in a row in which I haven't finished revising my novel. :-/ I have like...2.546 drafts (as in I wrote a terrible first draft and have not fully revised it but not for the lack of trying). Perhaps I should take NaNoWriMo as NaNoReMo (National Novel Revising Month).

This is the first year I've done it, and it's going to be brutal, but I'm excited. I've tried writing many times, but have never actually finished a piece. But I'm determined to finish this one!

I'm doing it this year. Worked out my outline last week, going to tweak on it a little in a few minutes.

According to the email I got yesterday, they're going to open the word counter on the first day.

I'm doing it this year. Previous years I've gotten a meagre 1k and 8k words down, but not this year.

This year, I'm determined to win.

Well, I'm going to be writing a novel this month, but I have no intention of finishing it any time soon. I really want to publish it and I just don't have time to write that fast.
