Permalink Reply by DeShaun on July 13, 2012 at 1:39am aww that sucks. Have you tried maybe trying to draw from some other places of inspiration?

Permalink Reply by NerdyClarinetGirl17 on July 12, 2012 at 2:15pm My computer's hard drive got messed up and deleted EVERYTHING on the computer. I lost all of my stuff. Now, I back up my computer daily with Time Machine and keep all of my files on a flashdrive that I bring with me everywhere. I also save a copy of the flashdrive's stuff onto my computer and the other computers in the house. Call me paranoid, but I lost three stories with more than twenty chapters and a whole lot of fanfiction. I think I cried....
Permalink Reply by Andrew Coleburn on July 12, 2012 at 11:27pm had a moleskine notebook full of poems and stories and things.....left in the back pocket of my jeans and it went through the washer... horrible. But ive herad of people doing crazy things to make sure they don't ever lose their work. I heard of a writer (forget who, or where i heard this) who, after his writing session for the day, would save a copy of all his work to a disc, and then hide this disc in the glove compartment of his truck in case something horrible happened.
I lost my composition notebook at school once, sort of. It was in my backpack first class, then a couple classes later I noticed it was missing. I had a panic attack and had a legit freak out in the restroom. The notebook had all my poetry, short stories, and ideas written in it. IT WAS MY LIFE. Somehow, like four classes later though, it turned up in my bag again. I still haven't figured out where it went all day... But I was so relieved when I got it back.
And just a couple months ago, my laptop crashed and I lost all my work. Now I copy everything to two flash drives, just in case it happens again. I hope you find yours. :)
