Permalink Reply by Stephanie Austin on December 7, 2012 at 10:17am I haven't read them so I'm not spoiler threat. (: What are they about?
Permalink Reply by Lindsey on December 8, 2012 at 7:20pm It is about a clan as you where of Vampires who are very prominent people in the upper class society of NYC. These vampires are different, however. Their method of origin are the angels who fell from heaven! Another thing that make these vampires different is that they live many lives called cycles. When they die they call it "cycling out". The Vampire Council decides what vampire will be born of what being for that life cycle. Infamous fallen angels part of the most powerful group "couples" are always born into the same cycle as twins, for example Gabrielle and Michael or Abbadon and Azrael. However, when they are born into a new cycle, they are not aware of who they truly are until around their 15th birthday when they start transitioning into vampires. This is when they start to remember all of the cycles they lived and develop their powers. The only way that they can come back in another cycle is if at least one drop of their blood, blue blood, is saved. It is what holds their memories, power, and immortal souls. This is what drives the plot for the first novel. Young blue bloods are tuning up murdered. The cause of death? Being sucked dry of all of their blood. The man character, Schuyler Van Aalen who is in the middle of it all is the fist be to born half vampire, half human. She is the daughter of the archangel Gabrielle, her mortal father unknown. In this cycle she is in a comma because she refused to feed off her daughters father or any mortal because of what comes with doing so for the mortal.
Some of the details might be a little off because it has been a while scene I have read any of the books ^^'
