ok we buy out an abandoned library and convert it into a safehouse/armory. 8 ft electric fence w/ barbed wire(can zombies be electrocuted?). behind door number 1(main entrance) air lock chamber for torching zombies. barricade windows with bars that way we can still shoot them. that is all I got for primary alterations for safe house oh and what about food that puts a beach house low on the list as well.
well then I rethink my idea but I am keeping the fence and say abandoned military institute (they can't be to hard to find)
I was just thinking about building my own bunker then it hit me that we must stick together.
Hmm, I think the best place is a good bunker. Thick doors, thick concrete walls and if the army is going to nuke everything it could provide protection against the radiation and stuff (fallout shelter?).
It seems doubtful I'll be able to get to your shelter in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I'll have to find an effective shelter for myself and other Australian survivors. An abandoned library does see like a good idea, or an abandon prison? Secret entrances are also key. Maybe learning something the Egyptian may help, false passage ways and traps?
Plain and simple, there is none. When you get lost in the forest, what do they tell you to do? They tell you to stay in one place. Why? Because you're easier to find if you aren't moving around. Basically you and your friends should get a couple of vans and just keep driving towards nowhere. Stop every couple of towns to raid them for food and supplies and sleep in a different place every night. If you do this then you'll never have to worry about running out of food, weapons or ammo. In a stationary camp you need to worry about keeping your supplies up while also dealing with the growing swarm of zombies around your perimeter.
