Introvert nerdfighters!

A group for introverts! It seems kind of stupid, but introverts aren't exactly loners, we just prefer certain people in small groups.

@Alaska is Beautiful

I think my mom is catching on to what I'm doing- since I sometimes get over my fake illness unrealistically fast. :P I do that with my sketchbook and journal. I get so many weird looks. And then I randomly babble some kind of small talk and try to leave myself. But it's awful when my bubble is broken- it's hard to get back into my "zone" when startled out of it. :P

@Sunny xD My mom tries to get me to take medicine as well. And I carry a notebook around everywhere for writing; when people get too close to me (and I notice) I jump up, close my notebook, and randomly start rambling about something...Or ask them to please leave when they aren't family.

@Alaska Is Beautiful

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who does that. My room is like my private little creativity bubble. And I swear I get heart palpations when people get close to my art table or look through my sketchbook or my journal. Whenever I have people over I hide my stuff. And I do the bathroom thing too haha. The bad part is that my mom then wants me to take Milk of Magnesia. :P

@Emilie Ug, I hate when people are over at my house. I love my grandparents, but when they visit, my entire life is turned upside down because they claim my room. My room is my private place filled with the objects (messily placed, I might add) of my creativity, so I have to completely remodel whenever they visit, and they put everything else out of order. Also, I no longer have a place to escape. I end up pretending to have constipation and spending a lot of time reading and writing in the bathroom.

@Alaska During my family reunion last year I just had a stinky face on. I love most MOST of my family but I couldnt stand it. It was at my home too so I got mad whenever somebody took my good towels or spilt something.

@aj I'm like that, too. With family reunions and things, I am as miserable as possible because everyone knows me but I have no idea who they are. And I used to be this extremely talkative 5-year-old, so people think something's wrong with me since I'm so quiet and "in the corner".

@Danno Yes! Another reason to spend the rest of the night on YouTube. :)

Charlie McDonnell actually talked about the seclusion at the con issue in his lates video.

@alaska omg thats my life. i am home schooled and i dont get a vacation. and i dont have any way to get out of the house. the only exception is when we go to the liberty or my sister drag me to the park. now to be fair i am going on a vacation to see old family. but its only becouse my grandma is sick. and i hate interacting with people i dont remember.

Hi, fellow Introverted Nerdfighters! I felt like interaction with awesome people would help cure my insane devestation. I have been trapped within my own home for weeks, only going outsie to accompany my afmily on yet another unwanted (at least on my part) excursion. Sorry to intrude on your Vidcom conversation. Elizabeth, I hope you still enjoyed Vidcom despite your introvertedness. I heard it was amazing as usual.

I hid in the back of the concert hall while everyone was dancing and spent most of the time alone.
