Very Early Concept Art

As a 2D animation student, I have to come up with a 90 second short as a senior thesis. I'm only a freshman, but for Animated Storytelling class we still have to come up with an idea and start a pitch for practice. Nothing's set in stone; we just learn the process. Somehow an Anglerfish became the subject of my story. I made a few quick digital paintings to figure out the visuals and lighting. Still very early, but I have a good feeling about this. Luckily I have 2 years to perfect it.
