Aha, well I like it! Aberforth is hilarious. I was kicking myself when book seven came out for not realising it was him in the Hog's Head.
I haven't actually listened to much wrock (unless the AVPM soundtrack counts, in which case I've listened to that more than I care to mention xD), but I'll definitely check that out! I actually liked the the movie adaptation of The Prince's Tale. Alan Rickman is such a great actor and he conveyed his heartbreak brilliantly. I loved the scenes of them as children, though I thought they could have put in that one where they meet James on the train. I didn't think Snape cradling Lily's body was creepy at all. It doesn't make *much* sense for him to be there, but I can imagine him rushing there as soon as he heard rumours about what happened.
My favourite movie, ooh.... I'll confess now to not being a huge fan of the movie adaptations .... I think they lost a lot of the essence of the books and they made some unforgivable mistakes xD. Despite the cast of amazing actors they had. *sigh* I know I'm picky.Although I think the last few were better than a lot of the previous ones... I thought Radcliffe's acting improved a great deal, for instance. And I kind of love Helena Bonham Carter, so seeing her play Hermione-as-Bellatrix was defnitely a highlight for me. I think my favourite director however, was Alfonso Cuaron for 'Prisoner of Azkaban', so I'd probably say that PoA is my favourite :D What are your opinions of the adaptations?

I know what you mean about Harry. He really is such a great character, he's really introverted, but he's funny and so easy to relate to too, which I suppose is the mark of a good protagonist. And Snape is such a beautifully complex character .... 'The Prince's Tale' is just so heartbreaking and wonderful. Though I think the way he bullies his students prevents him from being a favourite of mine. Aberforth is brilliant - I'm assuming your user name is a homage to him? I like it! :D
My favourite book is OotP too! I never find anyone else whose favourite it is! It's just soo good ... introduces us to such great characters as Luna, Bellatrix and Tonks. And I agree, I like the glimpse into Marauder-era Hogwarts. And, like you, I feel Hogwarts is the heart of the series and I LOVE the whole DA emerging to fight back for it. It's just like, aw yeah, Dumbledore's Army. It doesn't get more awesome than that :D

I love Fred, George, Hermione, Bellatrix. But I think my favourite person at the moment might be Professor MacGonagall. She's hilarious, she's incredibly awesome and she also has a big heart. Who's your favourite? :D And what's your favourite book of the seven?
