DPRK-suck

This group is for educating people on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, usually known as north Korea because the democracy is more than flawed, it isn't a republic, and the people are not cared about. If it gets enough interest, we can start thinking about what we can do as a community to benefit north Koreans. Right now, media freedom seems most important. This will most likely be a boring, gradual change, so the work of LiNK (liberty in north korea), which rescues and resettles north…See More

The professor could be a little dull at times, but the subject was pretty interesting.  The majority of Japanese history that I knew prior to the class was from anime, so it was nice to formally study the history.  The class mostly focused on the changing cultural and political landscapes of Japan (particularly Honshu for most of the class) rather than specific events, but that is pretty standard for university history classes.

As for the university itself, it was fantastic.  Living on or near campus is like great, since you are always with other people of the same sort of age group and you can do stupid stuff at one in the morning.  Classes are also really great, especially when you get basic 100-level courses people take to fulfill general requirements and only have other students who actually care about the material.

Haha, it's okay, people do that sometimes when they don't immediately see similarities. Sounds like a good read, I might read through it after I finish the Shoujo manga I'm currently on.

On an unrelated note, I am a mediocre bowler! :D
