I'm a nerdy girl who loves litterature, languages and travel. I want to become a litterature professor at Western. Like all nerds I love pop culture, and also enjoy dance, rollerbladding, arts and crafts and baking cakes. I'm also Catholic and very spiritual. My background is Polish and I am very proud to be both Polish and Canadian. I speak English, Polish and French.
- Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
- There's too much to name. The book that changed my life is Anne of Green Gables. I also really like French litterature - especially Moliere, Dumas and "The Phantom of the Opera." I love books like Pollyanna and Anne of Green Gables, as well as books that brighten your day like "The Book of Awesome." I DO enjoy nerdy books, like the Star Wars and even the Halo books, although I am video game challenged (don't know how to play them).
As far as comics go, I'm into Marvel and DC mostly. I LOVE Catwoman, Kitty Pryde and The Black Cat. I also really like Storm and Wonderwoman, as well as Spiderman, Ironman, Batman and the X-Men. Pretty much any superhero comics, really :D I also read Archie comics and love Josie and the Pussycats best.
I'm a huge fan of magical girl anime like Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure, and I love Hello Kitty and the manga Chocomimi. I like to draw anime style.
I am a huge fan of all things Disney, especilaly Beauty and the Beast
I love musicals, especially German musicals, and especially Elisabeth (about aprincess who falls in a love/hate relationship with the Grim Reaper - surprisingly, its very cute).
My fav tv shows are House, touched by an Angel, charlie's Angels (old ones, but I like the new ones too) and Polish soaps.
I like most movies, but those big summer blockbusters like Transformers and Green Lantern are pobably my favs, although I DO like things with a deeper meaning too. I am a Star Wars fan, of course. My guilty pleasure are those Disney Channel Original movies. *blushes*
As far as music goes, I mostly like bubblegum dance and funny parody songs like Weird Al and filk bands. Of mainstream bands, my favs are Lady gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry and the like. I love music from musicals, too.
