The People's Interpretation of Cathy!

So I was looking through the paper today, not getting any work done and I came across the comic section and like most times, the comic strips aren't really all that funny to me but there was one that stood out as being particularly perplexing: Cathy.

So what do I do? I think, "does anyone else really know what Cathy means?" I thought about the many ways to find out but I couldn't think of a real effective way to find out besides opening a blog where I'm going to post my… Continue

Presidents' Day (the movie)!

So in a strike of (brilliance/insanity/whathaveyou) I just wrote this on my twitter ( and I thought I'd share it with you wonderful people.

-"Presidents' Day" seems like it'd be the title of a scifi/horror movie where ex-presidents are brought back to life by a warlock.

-Spreading fear and terror over the citizens of America until Abe Lincoln and George Washington break free of the spell and fight back.

-All while the nation slowly…

Some Things!

My friends and I are having a Valentine's Day party tomorrow and we're all making valentines for each other--because we're essentially a bunch of elementary school kids who have graduated college--and guess what the theme of my valentines are gonna be?

Give up? Darwinian pick up lines!

"If I were an enzyme, I'd be DNA Helicase so I could unzip your genes!"

"I may be highly evolved but I still like to monkey around!"

"When I look at you, I get all… Continue

You Nearly Got Me!

Well played the internet. You nearly tricked me! You almost got me to blog about being sad and dateless around Valentine's Day but you're not going to win this time.

Nope not at a--wait what?

What do you mean I just did?

No, that doesn't count because I was telling you that you weren't going to get me to do it.

This isn't DeadJournal, I'm not going to be all-- what's that? No body even knows what DeadJournal is anymore?

Alright I will… Continue

A Strange Occurance!

So normally I don't tend to blog because I don't think that what ever I have to say is worth saying or why bother to be clever because no one is going to read it anyway. The Ning has apparently put me at ease because I feel like I can just write whatever nonsense and a lot of you are bound to read it anyway (even if you don't comment).

With that said, I'd like to point out that I haven't forgotten you Nerdfighter friends nor have I have lost the ambition to write in this space, I've… Continue

Heh, and it's Scotland for me, U of Glasgow for University.

He seems to radiate the right kind of energy, and I really like what I've seen him in, but I'm very resistant to change ^_^

I know, right? Are you going to be watching Joss Whedon's new television show?

I have been changed in all sorts of ways because of British writers (behaviour, colour, recognise, and so on), but I think it's okay, because I am moving to the UK.

I really loved Peter Davison (my favourite) and Tom Baker, but David Tennant and Chris Eccleston both pleased me well enough. I think Matt Smith will do a good job, but I think the producers may have picked him for his visual similarities to David Tennant, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. What do you think?

Also, you don't happen to watch Firefly, do you?

I am a very big fan of the Oxford comma. Mostly because I have bad grammar.

You use Oxford commas. And therefore I love you. No one in my area finds them useful or necessary.
