Geologist by training, used to fly aeroplanes and teach others to do it too, author for one month a year (NaNoWriMo) and despite being thoroughly British in every other respect; despises tea (and coffee).

Book-wise: Michael Crichton's "Jurassic Park" & "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", Arthur Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes" & "The Lost World", Clive Cussler's "Dirk Pitt" and "Issac Bell" novels, H. P. Lovecraft's Weird-Fiction Novellas and most of the African-set-novels by Wilbur Smith.

Music-wise: Musical Theatre, Marching Bands, Classical, Chameleon Circuit, Lindsey Stirling, and a frack-ton of other stuff.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
