I'm not originally from Brandon, but I have been here for 13 years, so I'm as much a Brandonite as the next person. I chose English because I want to be an editor and to get into the editing progtam I want you have to have a degree first. How long have you been in Manitoba?

Lila said… - I've been crazy busy with school and exams and what not. My summer has also been a bit crazy so it's taken me a while to respond. I can only lower my virtual head to you hoping for forgiveness. D: My summer has been fan-freaking-tastic! I tried biking to ottawa from toronto. Me and my friend got as far as co bourg before my bike broke down and we had to hitchhike the rest of the way. Amazing fun! We were headed to ottawa for bluesfest where I saw cage the elephant and the black keys live. Amazing! When me and my friend were leaving I recognised matt schultz just standing in the crowd and nearly had a seizure. I then got all fan girl and started to talk to him. He didn't want to get recognised by other people so he moved us aside and we chatted for a bit. It was lovely! I just got back from art camp yesterday and I'm going to fan expo to see michael shanks in 5 days. Ahaha, so hows your summer been? Hope all is well!

Sorry to hear about your Halloween misadventures. Not being able to watch Harry Potter? Being an adult blows LOL. I am also taking steps to finding a job, by taking steps I of course mean sitting around and complaining about my lack of employment. Have you found work since the last time we talked? Schools slow. I've got until the very END of June and I'm counting the days. Also how did that 80's Christmas party go? It sounds pretty win. Catch me up on your last few months :)

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond, there isn't really an excuse. But this is the internet and life will go on. Anyways, I hope halloween went as well for you as it did for me. I was darth vader and my friend was a storm trooper. It was awesome. The improv thing fell through cause my friend took WAYYY too long to get ready and I was like ...fuck it I'm going home. I was so irriatated with her, but now I'm over it. So s'all good in the hood. How has your month been? :)
