I LOVE that the display pic is from Persuasion on PBS/BBC. While Pride and Prejudice was published in 1813, and Sense and Sensibility in 1811, the original manuscript of P & P was written around 1797.

Yay, Sense and Sensibility! I -love- that movie! I heard that Sense and Sensibility was kind of like the first attempt at Pride and Prejudice, though I'm probably wrong...Anyone know?

I'm an artsy nerd. I love art/history (especially 18th and 19th century), Shakespeare, literature (when I can get myself to sit and read), music, etc. I especially love Jane Austen.

I am shamefully late in revealing myself as a nerdfighter, but I've known it for a very long time. Yaye for coming out as a nerd!!

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

AUSTEN, Shakespeare, Dickens, the Brontes, Garth Nix, Harry Potter, The Book of Flying by Keith Miller, Patricia McKillip...and John Green. Yeah, that guy.
