- About Me:
- I am a 19 year old college girl who is on a mission to decrease world suck through the power of donated books for impoverished children. Be on the lookout for the beginnings of my nonprofit organization Paper Angels, which is currently in its developing stage.
I enjoy all things Nerfighterish; which includes pizza and the idea of puppy-sized elephants. My primary functions are eat sleep school homework blog plan charity; but rest assured, I did come equipped with a personality core.
I am a Sherlockian, a Whovian, a Supernaturalist, a Potterhead, and a budding Portal fan.

- Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
- Favorite books: "Stargirl" -Jerry Spinelli. "Looking for Alaska"- John Green. "East of Eden" and "Of Mice and Men" -John Steinbeck (well, anything by him really) "To Kill a Mockingbird"- Harper Lee. "The Lovely Bones"-Alice Sebold. And the entire series of Sherlock Holmes stories by the eternal Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Movies: Uhh, do the BBC Sherlock mini-films count? Anyway; "Amelie", "War Horse", "The Kings Speech", "The Princess Bride", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "Tangled", the entire Toy Story trilogy, and basically anything that comes out of Pixar and/or Disney.
Music: I enjoy the entire spectrum of modern and classical music with the exceptions of dubstep and gangster rap. Current favorite bands/artists: Radiohead, Kings of Leon, White Stripes, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Leslie Fiest and the Broken Social Scene, The Beatles (they're a forever pick), The Raconteurs, and Dead Weather (basically any music project Jack White inserts himself into); and to break up the pattern; Yiruma (a fabulous Korean pianist who writes the most beautiful music that I have ever had the privilege of cramming to)
Food: all of it.
Color: Dark blue (TARDIS Blue)
TV show: currently; threeway tie between Sherlock, Doctor Who and Supernatural.
Clothing pattern: horizontal stripes.
Animal: hedgehog.
Season: Fall

Game of Distraction?
How unfortunate that my first blog post on Nerdfighters happens to come on one of my not so good nights; but melancholy is the muse I'm stuck with I guess. A week of straight gloomy weather and an entire kettle of full strength black tea can really do a wonder for opening up your mind, or distracting it.
