About Me:

About me, eh? Well, I fancy myself a singer/songwriter and a photographer and a writer even though I am an amateur in all these things. I do them because I feel passionately about beauty in all of its many aspects. Also, I feel that the whole reason that we are put here is to discover all the beauty around us and share it with the people around us, and help to uplift each other, and take care of each other. So by creating the are that I love to create, I guess I hope that I can contribute to the overall goodness in the world and also hopefully contribute a lil extra beauty into other folks' lives.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

Fave books: If it says Star Wars on it, I am interested. I love Spider Robinsons' books. I love to read old (i.e. late 1800's-early 1900's) books of essays. I love to read books about eastern religion (i.e. - Maharish Mahesh Yogi, Paramhansa Yogananda) There's some "chick lit" that I like, but I cannot recall the names of authors just right now. I love to read about the musicians I love to listen to.

Speaking of musicians, here's a list of some of my faves: Gordon Lightfoot, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Donovan Leitch, Alanis Morrisette, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, The Shirelles, Ella Fitzgerald, the Andrews Sisters, (some) Christina Aguilera, (some) Lady Gaga, James Taylor, lots of early 60's motown, Paul Simon (both with Art Garfunkel and afterward), and lots more....

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
