BRAINS!

I spend most of my time sitting in a waiting room, my hands folded in my lap or fiddling with a Peoples magazine thats just to anchient for words. I am sitting quietly, the air conditioner up just to the point where you can't help scooching in your seat every few minutes dew to a slight draft down your neck. I'm chewing gum sometimes, it looses taste to quickly and i find i can never find a napckin. I often stick it under the chair and have a unmistakable giulty look that says "I know ishouldn't do that." I have a half sipped coke, after bringing the same coke to the waiting room every day wouldn't it go flat, NO! It fizzes when i turn the abern liquid just slightly, and tastes warm no matter how much i wish it cold.
I watch the old television, its bad reception doasn't seem to bother me though the spanish speeking womans face slants threw fuzz every few seconds. The chair I sit in is uncumphortable and the carpet frays just to much to help from playing nonshelontly with my foot.
My eyes roll over the extent of two children playing in the corner with a poor excuce for a toy car. Ther are only two wheels, and even they are falling short. The plastic is faded and the front window sticker is peeled half way off. The children like the rest of the room don't really care. There are to many chairs in the L shaped room, and small wooden tables that should belong in a retirement home, they wobble and move everytime a wind comes from the opening door, and they seem to quiver benieth fake flowers that smell of dust and febreese.
I spend most of time here, i signed my name on the Wellcome list far to long ago and yet they never call my name, i wonder if the receptionist will go home soon, if not i will wait forever.
