I've been thinking about this for a while.I know any democratic voting system is somewhat flawed unless you have only 2 candidates/parties to vote for.So how exactly does the voting system in your…Continue

gelingeling said… Hello, well, I would recommend visiting the dictrict of Kreuzberg in Berlin, because it's very colourful and exciting. Especially Mehringdamm, Bergmanstreet and the whole area around Kottbusser Tor, Oranienburger Street. That's really interesting! There are a lot of restaurants and nice book shops etc, too.
Also I'd recommend visiting the East Side Gallery.
Yeah, that's it for now... ^^
Ela said… yes I am! In Hamburg, actually :)
gelingeling said… Hey there, I read your comment in the German Nerdfighter group. I live in Berlin. What are you interested in? Maybe I could give you some tips or something.
DFTBA (:
Sam Lyttle said… Aren't they the best! I've always loved horses. There's just something about them that puts my mind at ease when I'm around them. Whenever I'm stressed out I love going to the barn and just being surrounded by them.
Trueartgirl said… Yes I am still interested in being a penpal, however I need stamps so we may have to start off with emails. Let me know if you still want to write to each other ^_^

Eystein, said… I'm sorry, kind of rude of me to just blow it off like that. I'm kind of rusty when it comes to that sort of thing. I've never had long phone chats with anyone, always straight to business and then 'done', 'bye', 'see yah'... I don't even use msn, so the whole idea terrifies me and makes kind of afraid of my computer as I never know when someone's gonna invade my me-time;) Mayhaps when I find myself in a strange and unfamiliar land I'll be more talkative. I don't know... Wouldn't hurt to exchange contacts I suppose if you still want too... o.O
Eystein, said… Hmm actually yes... why? o.O I hope you're not planning on calling me, cause I'd freak out. I hate speaking English on the phone. I stutter and soak myself. Besides, not much of a chatter. Only sign up for the damn thing to call my poor mother;)
Eystein, said… Yeah okey, but at least it's an honorable aspiration, and probably a lot of fun once you get past the hard tutorial bits.
Heard of couch surfing, all the weirdest people I know are or have done it I think, but I don't know the details. These people I speak of seem to meet new people wherever they go. I don't have that skill, wish I had, but I'm too uncomfortable in my own skin to actually enjoy other people's company for more than a few hours at most, with a few exceptions of course;)
But it's definably a great way to mend your spending on a prolonged trip, and I believe Europe is great for that sort of thing. Probably North America too. I myself am heading of for Texas on the new year. Got an exchange spot. Kind of exited about it. It'll be good get out this town for a while:)
Eystein, said… My major is electrical control systems *yawn* I hate it so much... Has made me slack off, and I pay for it now. Had chemistry for some reason this semester and I enjoyed it a lot, so maybe biochemistry could be my thing. I definitely have screwed up enough morality to venture in that direction;)
Do you study anything you like? See you're getting some animation tips, that's an awesome skill to have I think.
