Best. Bracelet. EVER.

I just had to mention this. My unbelievably awesome nerdfighter friend gave it to me. She went to a kiosk that does personalized engravings.

Hey, Claire. Story time!

"Lalalala" Becky hums to herself as she searches the net. She decides to go on the Vlogbrothers site, found at "brotherhood2.com." She's scanning the front page and....
OH MY GOD!
It's the fantabulous bracelet that she, Rebecca, had given young Claire not 3 weeks ago. She then proceeded to happy dance.

End story. Viva Clara.

The third movie was by far my least favourite, and that's why I have the equally resentment for the book... Which is sort of condescending, but I'm sorry...I'm a little oppinionated.

About Deathly Hallows, I'm incredibley excited, yipee!

Hmm...David Yates, as long as he doesn't cut out too much....Well, maybe some of the middle like we talked about ;)

I really didn't like Alfonso Curan who did PoA, because he made it incredibly dark...From a director's standpoint, it is hard to make a balance of dark and light, so adventure and comedy, I think David Yates did a good job, but he cut out A LOT of the last book,....which is another challenge among directors, but still...

Ohhh that's awesome!! I'm so excited!!
Do you know who the director is going to be?!

Totally awesome 2-partness! I just hope Yates doesn't schmuck it up TOO much. So far he hasn't left me too dissapointed, so I hope that continues. Oh, btw, I'm totally going to tell you this, but I gotta write it. I STOLE ALEX CARPENTER'S GUITAR PICK!

YAY!

Hmm...Deathly Hallows would be my second favourite, I agree completely about the middle part with the wandering forest bit, it honestly ruined most of that for me because it was seemingly pointless and boring. I thought Harry should've actually died, like I had forshadowed it previous to the release, but when he came back... It just..confused me, his sacrifice was supposed to be, like a sacrifice, not him just "dying" and then going back, no no, that's not a sacrifice.. I guess it was okay, that part anyway, it made it a "happy" ending, except for all of the anti-Harry lovers out there... But overall it reached what I had expected, and beyond.. Especially with the epilogue, and Snape's background :), and a lot of Dumbledore's past, you learn a lot about the past, and not much about the future... Which to me makes one helluvan ending, because it leaves people with their own imaginations to fill in the pieces and holes that are left.

The only problem left with that book is the expectations of the movies, which really sort of ruins the experience, especially if you come accross someone who only likes the movies and doesn't care for the books... They won't ever know what the real story was, and now with the seventh movie looming after the sixth, it will be one heck of a project, a lot of angry fans, and a lot of leaving out important parts... But if the director puts a whole bunch of the forest parts and leaves out something incredibly important like.... a death or two of certain important people, I might be makin' a trip accross the pond.

Hm, I very much agree about it being a different style, but it also reflects a lot about teenagers at that time, snogging is mostly what they think about now, isn't it? I've also heard that the movie is rumored to be more of a romantic comedy for this one, which would be both rather disappointing and exciting at the same time, I would personally like a bit of adventure and romance for that one considering it has a nice mix in the book aswell, but I'm nowhere near the United Kingdom for them to hear my oppinion. :D

My favourite is Goblet of Fire, I first read it in a rush to finish because I couldn't stop reading them, very infectuous.. But after I reread it the second time, I began to understand more about the characters then I did in any of the others, and it made me feel really good about myself, of course, I was rather young and something like character development was something both new and exciting to me, and therefore it has stuck with me as a positive and exhilerating experience, which is the reason I love it so much...

Wow, best conversation ever. What are your views on Deathly Hallows? Were you a disappointed HP fan or were your expectations reached?
At 3:58pm on March 11, 2008, Jess said…
Hmm that's good to know, I'm planning on reading it after a couple more books are finished, I tend to just start books all at the same time and not finish them for a long time, trying to change that :)
What's your favourite harry potteR?
