- It doesn't matter how many times you re-write these things, they never sound good. So I better just get on with it...
My name is David, Dave, The Doctah and so on. I enjoy the usual things like video games, animation, films and a wide array of music genres. I like being opinionated, but I am not stuck up enough to force those opinion on others. I used to write a lot, mainly for fun and a little bit for education. I really must get back into expressing myself through words; it really was a happy time.
I have a boring job, but working lets me work towards having fun, so why complain? Something I missed or that you want to know? I will be happy to answer any question you may have ^^.
People have asked me a few questions regarding Nerdfighters, so I thought why not post them on here, saves me answering them again!
Difference Between NM, Admin and Mod? And why Ops?
NM stands for “Ningmaster” which is a phrase first coined by Hank I believe. It is exactly the same as an Admin it just depends on what someone prefers to use. Mods or Moderators work on certain sections under an NM/Admin. It is my job to run the site and the other NMs/Admins/Mods. Ops means Operations- I tend to deal with anything member or content based on the site whereas I leave the technical side to those with more expertise lol.
How do I apply to become a Ningmaster/Mod?
Ask. We are often looking for people to help maintain this awesome place. There was a time in which we asked for applications in the form of blogs telling us "Who, Why, When" but if you are not fond of writing blogs, just come to us and show us you are interested and why.
How can I contact Hank/John/Alan?
This answer might be disappointing, but I am afraid its the best I can do. Through their Nerdfighters profiles occasionally, through Youtube and through the DFTBA group. That's all I really offer on that one...sorry.
I have an idea, think it would work on the Ning?
We love hearing ideas and suggestions for the site, so get in touch with one of us and tell us what you have come up with/think.

- I am fan of many different genres and styles but if I had to pick one of my favourites out of each... Dracula, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Avengers (Or Marvel Avengers Assemble ¬_¬), Coheed and Cambria and American style pool.

A New Year, An Old Problem
Another New Year, another set of resolutions. I always joked my only resolution was to not make any resolutions. Few people actually carry out their self appointed tasks. This year has seen so much happen in terms of sport and the Olympics, the British Royal Family and the unfortunately numerous tragedies. Looking at all that and more makes you realise that only you can change many of your habits and actions, so why not give it your all this year? On a personal note this is something I have…

Halloween Competition Time and a Research Project...
So All Hallows Eve is approaching… The one night of the year where creatures that go bump in the night (and I am not just talking about Itai going to the bathroom) crawl out of the woodwork and lurk in search of prey… or just candy! It is a time of merriment and spooky fun as many people across the world don costumes themed on the occult and the scary to celebrate Halloween. In the spirit of this time of year we want to see just how creative the Nerdfighter community can be!
