On Christmas Vacation, in which I write 30,000 words and get a visit from the Ghost of Christmas Past

I've done NaNoWriMo twice now. I've written another 50,000 word novella besides that. And if I added up all the words in the many, many files of unfinished work stored on my iMac...well, it's just too many words to bother with counting. But this Christmas has topped them all. In five days of vacation, I've accumulated over 30,000 words of new material. That's just the stuff I save. The Benefits of Puppy Raising

'Kay. This isn't going to be all afterschool special, but in the spirit of nerdfighting (i.e. decreasing world suck), if you are in the position to be able to raise a guide dog puppy, I encourage you to do so. I'm currently raising a pup named Wren for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. It's totally voluntary, but definitely made of awesome!
