Hi Deb! The art is going slow at the moment to be honest, I have had a gessoed (sp??) page ready to go for about 10 days sitting blank with paint supplies around it. But when its done I will definitely put it up... but be warned E got all the talent…
All this talk about school,classes and papers.... totally miss it. I've been out for 4 years however, in another life I would be a full time history student!

My house is actually clean...well, the kitchen and family room are, and my bedroom mostly...so good enough.
I'm on the last page of my 7 page "what I want this year" AJ spread. And I finished reading "The Good Earth". Those were my joyful accomplishments of the week.

- I am home...but just finished arguing with L and putting him to bed, and now I'm going to bed. Long night, long day. It's got to be a full moon or something because our poor little guy is having a TOUGH day...and his mom has a headache...going to bed.

- I'm a workaholic. I have a love/hate relationship with my job and I'm totally scared that I'll never be able to find balance with it and a personal life. So I'm in the process of developing other hobbies and interests (other than reading... though I could quite happily read all the time) so I'm trying to develop a passion for running, and am committed to run a 1/2 marathon in September. I think I'm mental for doing that but... oh well.
My family is the most important part of my life and I live far to far away from them for me. I am lucky to have 3 amazing sisters and parents that have basically supported me in everything that I have set up to do, and are there when I need to cry about my latest clumsy fall down the stairs!
I am incredibly clumsy... which does not really go well with my passion for frivolous shoes (high, pretty, completely useless shoes!!)

- I love to read. Its always been my refuge from the world. I've read almost every type of genre out there at one point or another. I tend to read historical, war based, spy novels the most for pure entertainment value.

Olympians
Last night a dear family friend made the qualifiers to compete in this summer's Olympics. He has joined the ranks of so many great men and women to compete in these prestiges games that represent the best of the best.
