I didnt know what I was expecting when I first bought Looking for Alaska, hell, I didnt even know what it was about. But as it progressed I fell in love with the characters and drew up comparisons between them and me. I felt empathy for Miles and I was in awe of Alaska's courage; her ability to forget the world and run.

I have FINALLY been able to buy Looking for Alaska, and, 30 pages in, I am already in love this the style of writing and the characters. I love his way of description and the characters are all portrayed perfectly. And I want NO spoilers on how it ends.
Today, I also went to see Harry Potter.
The fact that I cant remember the detail from the book because of how long it has been since I read it made it a really good film. The bits I can remember were different…
