I actually wrote a paper on how to be awesome
Just thought I'd share this...
My alarm clock went off at, indescribingly early six-thirty AM. . .I slam my drowsy fist on the large button that read "snooze" hoping to rest my thoughtsand priorities in a safely-locked vault; at least for nine more minutes. I barely lay my head down and I hear the tormenting shriek of the glowing machine. I drag my lazy sself out of bed- hoping I had mistaken this horrid week day for a weekend. What I've noticed...
What I've noticed about myself is that I don't get excited in routine. Like, when Christmas comes around- all I can do is go "Yeah..." whenever anybody asks me if I'm excited. I mean, I am 14, but I don't know if it's natural not to get excited, or it's just because of your personality. But I do remember one thing- that when I was around 5 or 6 or maybe even 7- I noticed that I would get in trouble about a week before Christmas came. Hello There, a short story/thought for a story
For some reason, I could never look at the stars the same way I used to. Tonight, a lifeless and empty one, was the night I realized this.
