About Me:

My name is Cristina.
I AM NOT LIKE MOST GIRLS. I AM VERY WEIRD.
I am not one of those girls who is into shoes, high fashion, make-up, and soppy chick flicks. In fact, I do as much as I can to push myself as far away as possible from the typical teenage female stereotype.
I'm reasonably intelligent and not afraid to show it. Proof? Well, for instance, I publicly admit that I read Wikipedia for kicks, and often make reference to things I've found out on it.
I USE OPERA. OPERA > ALL OTHER BROWSERS.
I have an unhealthy affinity for actors who are old enough to be my father.
Ironically, my boyfriend is younger than me.
I'm mostly viewed as a geek at school, yet I have a wicked sense of humour, awesome friends, and I play the drums better than anyone at my school. Clearly that just automatically escalates my level of coolness. Because drumsaresocoollike.
One day I hope to be a journalist, or be somehow involved in the field of writing and the like. If that fails, I wouldn't mind a career in IT, as computers are my passion along with writing.
You should also bear in mind that a lot of what I type here will most likely be either sarcastic or self-deprecating...or both.
So don't take things too literally.

The proudest moment for me on drums was learning how to play Not falling by Mudvayne. You should look it up on youtube, even if you don't like metal, it has the maddest drum line ever. I still take lessons (cos i suck at reading music) but i play in a few bands...do you play in any bands?
