Warning, there be some wax gore
Since we both had the day off, and the weather was excellent, Mutts andI decided to hit up Victoria.
Victoria is an excellent city, it really is. Its got a charm to it that Vancouver (and, as it happens, most major cities in Washington) lack. ALSO it is full of excellent, actually talented street performers (including a man dressed as Darth Vader who plays the violin) and gorgeous young adults flocking in from around the world to take pictures on the parliment steps.* The streets are… Continue

Urrrrr so much stuff to do a proper update, so here's some things:
-Sasquatch was like one huge, excellent dream. Except for some pretty shitty sound mixing (but, y'know. outdoor music festival and all that.) and Santigold's horrible set, the music was EXCELLENT. Also, the scenery is so fantastic you just want to die and then spend your afterlife making gorge/gorgeous jokes.

I'm a graphic designer, actually. I got lucky a year or two ago. I happened to be in the right place at the right time. I work at this place that has a bunch of lasers that etch black and white images onto granite monuments. We typically etch headstones, and people seem to think that is very weird.
Incidentally, I was a dishwasher before that, so I can sort of sympathize with you about the food industry.

- He wants it to be a dramatic teenage comedy sort of thing. Like, mostly serious, but at the same time, mocking movies like Not Another Teen Movie and the like. It is basically just the past year or two for our circle of friends, but all the names are changed.
It will probably never be completed, though. It's like one of those things where you're a kid and you really want to build a tree house in the tree in your backyard, but you don't have any wood or nails, nor is your allowance enough to buy what you need and you'll soon forget about the whole thing except for the times you look out at the tree and think about how awesome it would be if you had a really sweet treehouse up there.
