What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?

I'm a Narnia, Literature, Nature, LOST, Musicals, Movies, Art, YouTube nerdfighter

About Me:

*I like to laugh and have fun. I also like to make others laugh.

*I was born to older parents when my brother and sister were already married so I was an only child in a way. We moved around alot, been to lots of schools and a few states.

*I love nature. I've promise myself that I'll buy a house in the country someday. (with horses)

*Photography. Its fun and relaxing and its not something I have to be real good at to enjoy.

*Writing- I write short stories, poems, and lots of lists and ideas and such. I have so many notebooks and pens and pencils.

*I like to read books. Lots. Narnia is great. But I read lots of other stuff as well.

*Drawing/pastels, Archery, YouTube, Travel, dancing, swimming, tennis, Musicals, animals, horses, pandas, dolphins, comics- Mutts (I will add to this list as things comes to my mind)

TV- LOST, One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, Firefly, Monk, Will and Grace, Friends, Dawson's Creek, Food Network, and other shows on dvd.

MOVIES- Too many to pick. I don't just watch a movie for entertainment I really dive into it. (same as when I read books) I also pay attention to plot and detail and quality of acting. Nerdy? lol maybe I enjoy playing 'move critic' hehe. So of course I like to discuss movies at length with fellow movie nerds. I enjoy romantic comedys and drama. Movies that make me think and inspire me.

MUSIC- I have over 400 cds so its hard to pick my all time faves. But I can appreciate all kinds of music. Including Jazz and Celtic.

We'll have to update the how-to page after this new Wordpress update. It just makes things confusing!

Images on webpages have their own URLs (they end .jpg or whatnot). Anyway, if you use firefox, you can right click on the photo and click copy image location and snag it that way. If you use IE, lemme know and I'll open that one (blasphemy, I know!) to see how IE displays it.

Anyway, I'll switch links and stick yours up. And then make myself some coffee!! Awesome!

Yours looks different (and apparently so does mine from yours) because Wordpress has updated since we did the tutorial. We need to update the pictures. Users screens look like this:

There are two ways to insert pictures:

1) Just like this:

Click on that HTML tab on the right, then the img button. Then paste the URL in there.

Or ....

2) You can paste the URL in the entry field if you're in the 'Visual' tab. Then (and this is new since our last photo contest), you have to highlight the URL you pasted by selecting it and click that link button that was greyed out. It'll darken after you highlight. It looks like this...

This last update to Wordpress made all of the buttons go wonky. Sorry!! But if you used the snipping tool for the screenshot, I'll think that was really awesome!!

Depending on which screen you're on, it's either the first square that is next to the words Upload/Insert (above where you'd type words) and then a popup box will open and you click on the second tab that says URL ..... or it's a little button that says img above the field you enter text in.

If you have a hard time finding it, send me the url for the photo (with the title you want it to have) and I'll stick it up there for ya! .... That reminds me to put mine up!
