Hey so right now in Iceland it is legal to kill polar bears. They do this because the polar bears come over from Greenland and are dangerous. However this is just awful because they are endangered and they are running out of land. There is a petition going on to stop this and it has no where near enough signatures and time is running out FAST! Please sign this petition and send it to all your friends before Feb 1. A fair battle ;P I love animals too, of course. I'm just not so sentimental about it, but then again I eat them, so... But I don't want them to go extinct either, and I absolutly loathe the way most domesticated animals are treated, so I should be a vegiterian...

- Not to gang up with kenny, he's an ass. But I really think this petition is uncalled for. It's not Iceland's responcebility to conserve polar bears (at least at this level, when it's just about popultaion controll), it's Canada, Norway, Russia, Denmark(Greenland) and USA's responcebility to do so, and lack of land is not what threatens them, it's diminishing sea ice and hormone disrupting chemicals (the last threat may have been dealt with, for now...). The outlook is grim, so I understand your concern, but bashing Iceland is not the answer. Sorry for pestering you further =P
