When I read A Wrinkle in Time, it was the first time I found characters and themes that totally absorbed me. "You could be a physicist or an astronomer as a career?" -- it was the first time it occurred to me that this was possible. More important...

Harry Potter:D though I read many books before it, none of the were really captivating for me. It's well written (loveee J.K Rowling) and the whole story is just great I find. Really makes you wish that you went to Hogwarts...sigh *

Hmmm, kom precis på att Charlotta skrev Happy Potter istället för Harry potter :) That makes me happy, somehow, though I'm quite sure that was the opposite of her intentions. =] Välkommen Frank Andersson. Var god ta en cheeseburgare :>

Oh, that's wonderful ! They've done an excellent job, and I'm rather excited now. :D

I'm not sure what "f.ex. texts" means, exactly, but the book's a shortened version of da Vinci's notebooks, which are very lengthy, and do go on a bit. His advice on painting, drawing, biology, mathematics, philosophy, and quite a few other subjects, is absolutely brilliant (and all of his extraordinary sketches, drawings and designs come from his notebooks).

Ah, but you could always invent a machine that sends cheeseburgers instantly around the planet: then your cheeseburger-saintness will KNOW NO BOUNDS. ;D

You're perfectly welcome! Barnes is a marvellous writer. And I think I saw it on your Goodreads shelf a little while ago, actually.

YAY TUMBLR! :D Good stuff, Susie. I'm glad you've joined us. And "Sense Delirium"? BRILLIANT name. And remarkably apt, seeing as you're a synnie. I have quite a fondness for anagrams, too: "elated mango jam" is my favourite anagram of my name. :)

(And don't worry; you don't sound in the least stalker-ishly frightening.)

P.S. Every time I visit your page, I get a very strong craving for cheeseburgers. I'm a vegetarian, so this is not especially convenient. ;)

50 books in one year!

Thought I'd try this "Read 50 books in one year"-thing, since I have them all written up.
Hmm, because of this, I know about all the books I've written this year, so I'll write them all up, but the order will be completely screwed up. (Btw, some of them will be in Swedish, of course)

1. Harsh Cry of the Heron - Lian Hearn
2. Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
3. Emperor : The Death of Kings - Conn Iggulden
4. Emperor : The Gates o… Continue

The 'Create An Album' Game!

I found a great thread a while ago, called The 'Create an Album' Game.
I ADORE it. It pwns my socks (And my socks are rather awesome)!
I just thought I'd make a blog with my favorites (Of the ones I've made, that is because I'm horridly egoistic/ostentatious/narcissistic/flamboyant blah, blah and blah). (Most of them are very photoshopped, and I'm actually a bit proud over... my accomplishments =] (xD)) (I used GIMP and Picnik. They also pwn my socks.)

Here they are:… Continue

Paper towns - reaction

I finished Paper towns last night. It was pretty.. amazing. Actually, that's an understatement.
Though I was paralyzed, the way I get paralyzed after reading something that is the definition of Awesome, I in some way succeeded to get out of my bed (I always finish books while reading in my bed, mostly because I finish them 2 in the morning, but this time it was only around 11 pm) and staggered, stumbled into my sister Director Danny's room. I lay down on her floor (something about her floor is s… Continue
