On Insomnia and Tomorrow.

I tend to avoid falling asleep as an attempt to avoid "Tomorrow". See, as soon as I fall asleep, I will wake up and it will be "Tomorrow". Usually "Tomorrow" lands on a work day so I don't like it much. Moreover, I like the "End of Today" a lot, so I try to stretch that out as much as possible. This, however, is detrimental to my mental capacity for the first few hours of "Tomorrow", but does contribute to the financial betterment of the coffee industry. Which ultimately makes the "End of…See More

Idiosyncrasy

I was at a rather standard cafe today waiting for my car to be fixed. I had quite a bit of time to kill so I pull out a book to read and order a coffee and a piece of apple pie. I felt like an early Gen-X'er that was really into Bukowski for a moment, as if I should be writing mediocre poetry into a moleskine. I began to prepare my coffee, one sugar and a plop of cream. The waitress I had was rather nice and projected the kind of character you would only get from a truly good person. I…See More

Bro 2.0 in 3 days

I've spent the last three nights watching the entire first year of the vlogbrothers. There were just too many jokes I didn't get, so I had to start from the beginning.I kind of wish there was a playlist for the first year so you can watch them in succession. After doing that, I figured I should get signed up at the ning to see what cool things were happening here.See More
