- I'm a Jedi. I spend most of my free time building the foundation for the Jedi path. When I make time I love to read things to inspire and entertain me. I want to reconnect with my awesomeness. :-)
In personal news, I'm married. My wife and I have been together for 12 + years, in spite of countless challenges with her health. We have two awesome cats. I work as a seismic data processor which I can only describe as taking the data that comes from shooting down waves into the ground and making them look pretty and represent the structure of the earth. I really enjoy it, like solving a puzzle most days. Frustrating but also the most rewarding job I've had.

- Where to start? Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Bones, Buffy, NCIS - things that help me feel like no matter how bad it gets, we endure and we can find a way to make it better. Reading is mostly sci-fi and fantasy fiction and spiritual non-fiction. I love Orson Scott Card's writing, though disagree with him politically. Discovered Lev Grossman this year, along with Terry Pratchett and Veronica Roth. Music used to be everything to me, now I just don't have much time for it. I like authenticity in music. I crave it. Music speaks to the soul, and I have little time for inauthentic soul communication. My tastes vary, but most likely if it's authentic and not all negative I'll like it. Unless it's all electronic stuff thrown on top of an authentic performance, that kills it for me.
