"I am a radient, shadow of a beautiful ginger child. I am a fairytale romantic finding herseIf among her words. am a Porcelain Doll. With Glass eyes and a pretty painted smile. My skin cracked with child’s play. So careless, so innocent, such child’s play. I am a sidewalk in a city where everyone drives. Rarely tread-ed upon, but soon forgotten at any occasion. A plan-B path to get to a destinationthat has nothing to do with myself. Seeds find their way into my cracks with the wind and weeds spring up ready to coil around my throat. I wear the singed sleeve of romance, ashen from a burning heart. The flame is one of the gods. It never burns out, but flickers in the soft light of my heartache. To fearful to shine. The breath of the world terrorizes it. Sends soft winds in the whispers of desire, little impulses to blow it out. But I persevere. I am strong through my pain. I rise, put back my shoulders and throw up my chin. I am the blind one who stared at the sun. Though, my eyes have been wounded I’m never to separated from the light. I am a complexity of a girl, with tender quirks and a heart too big for her own good. I romance with words and dance through my sorrow, and the Devil tempt me as he might. I will not back down from simply being me."

My name is Jade Bronte. I am seventeen years old and an incoming freshman at Louisiana state university. I am studying English: Wriing and culture. After that I hope to persue law school. I want to be an eye witness reporter, I want to travel the world and make a difference.
