I always wonder if schools in the states are like that? UK universities doesn't really have great extremes, you don't get jocks bullying nerds at the lockers (you only rarely get lockers)

I think Tinto is made with red wine and summer fruit juice (berries, etc), Sangria is red wine with tomato juice and some other stuff. It's not a bad drink (and I was very amused when I saw the juice boxes) but it's one that people - mostly tourists - use to get drunk very quickly, even though it's traditionally meant to be a refreshing summer drink (tinto de verano meaning "wine of summer")

I know how to say Happy Birthday in Arabic, but that's all, it seems fascinating to learn a language that doesn't use the Latin Alphabet, not sure I'd be up to learning all new letters.

I've been good, 2009 is generally shaping up well. I am indeed in Austria, in fact I got back from a week visiting my home town just this afternoon, so I'm in a very good mood.
Whereabouts are you, by the way, I don't think I asked?
