- I am a nerd who lives and breathes creativity, whether it is my own creations or marvelling at the works of others.
- About Me:
- I'm a nerfighter of many shades. I am constantly amazed by the creative power of the human mind and I take my time to enjoy it. Of course, this comes in many forms. I love to read and write, and I am a music addict. I'm also a theatre nut. I love to create art (drawing isn't quite enough to describe what I do) and to take in the beauty of other's works.
I'm also a bit of a hippie. I believe that protecting our environments is one of the most important ways that we can decrease world suck. Now, this can be fun as well. For example, buying from the local farmers market is as much about having an adventure as it is about decrease your carbon footprint by purchasing locally. I love the creativity that comes from cooking my own food and cleaning house is actually a meditative exercise for me. I'm absolutely addicted to yoga, I can't get through a day without at least ten minutes of it.
While I don't make my own Youtube videos I am an avid supporter of vloggers. You guys and gals have nothing but respect from me. It's an entirely new kind of creativity and community and you are all brilliant.
My current big obsessions outside of my creative endeavours and Nerdfighting are: Doctor Who, Glee, and Harry Potter.

Long post is long... In defence of the Ning and Nerdfighter friendships
There has been a lot of rumblings throughout Nerdfighteria about the nature of online community and how perhaps Nerdfighteria is not everything it strives to be. H'okay, so I kind of have a confession. My first and only final exam is next Monday afternoon in a 400 level educational psychology course, which is Introduction to Counselling for those who are curious. That's not the problem. Escaping the Tornado in My Mind
Thank goodness I have yoga tonight or I don't know how I would make it through the day. Going to the Vampire Food Bank
Alright, not really. But I can't be the only one that thinks the blood bags at the donation clinic look like the juice bags that some companies use. I'm looking at you Kool-Aid! *stink-eye*
