I'd be willing to help anyone, but I'll be busy editing my novel for the next couple of weeks, so nothing really long at least until February. I have time for about an hour of reading at a time, though.

Before too long I'm going to be looking for people to give copies to my first to for reading. Just to see if they think it's any good. If you, or anyone else here on nerdfighters, would be willing to take on such a large task just let me know. I sho…

As a slam poet, I don't care for rhyming. This is it's own style. And I like it. The imagery paints a beautiful picture and tells a tale. I agree with Lily, if you decide to make this into a story, keep this style of writing.

Profile Information

What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
Band Nerdfighter and Writing Nerdfigther. (yes, it's suppose to be misspelled.)
About Me:
I'm a writer/poet, I play multiple instruments for marching/concert band, and reading and figuring out sudoku puzzles is what I like to do on a Sunday afternoon. I love orange juice, tea, and hot chocolate. Music is a huge passion of mine. If I could do it, I'd be in a band. Instead, I listen to music and remember everything about it. I write lyrics of my own and a few friends and I think of instrumentals that would sound nice with it.

Let it be known that Neumann, Kristin and Sue are some of the best Chicagoland Nerdfighters that I've known for a long long time... if four years counts as 'long long time.'

I'm writing three main stories at one time right now. One about different life forms, another about a ghost and a girl stuck in a hospital, and another about a boy striving to regain his life after running away from it. I'll be in the Writers Nerdfigthers most of the time. Come hang out with us, we need as many people as we can get who have ideas.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
Pride and Prejudice, The Looking Glass Wars trilogy, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Uglies series (I've been hearing a connection b/w Scott and John?), Modern Faerie Tales, Alice in Wonderland, The Great Gatsby, Twilight Series, Looking For Alaska, Mr. B. Gone, etc...
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
My moose winter hat or my stuffed animal cow dubbed Kissydamoomoo.
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
My Red Period 4 Lunch Table mates

Paper Towns

I almost had the same reaction I did when I read "Looking for Alaska." However, I could not summon the great voice of John Green to read the words in front of me. I was saddened, but also happy that I could think of Q as his own self right from the beginning, unlike my troubles with Pudge. The first thing I will admit about these two books is that they share common interests.

1.) Tough, complicated teenage girl: Alaska and Margo are both independent souls. I like this because there are too many… Continue

Hey, Let's Celebrate!

I recently picked up a copy of "Finding Alaska" just a couple days ago and am already starting the "After" part of the book. I didn't go into NFing knowing John's books, so I decided I'd read his novels and see how much more I coiuld appreciate him. I admit, writing wins me over before music does. Shocker to my marching band buddies, I'm sure, but no surprise to the people who know I write... a lot.

After reading quite a big chunk of his first novel, I started to notice he writes just like he t… Continue

Hello again Jenny. I finished editing the entire piece of chapter ten and emailed it to you. So you may edit it however you want now. I think we did an amazing job with the whole thing, John will be so proud of us. Anyway, I was hoping I could get the rest of Lily's POV so we could staple it on to the final draft. Hope to hear from you soon, DFTBA.

Hey Jenn, I've been on editing chapter ten, and while I may not be finished, it's beautiful. It's like reading the works of John Green himself. I just wanted to tell you how awesome your writing came our. You really put the story in a nice flow for the collab parts. I'll send you the collab part as soon as I'm done editing. I just wanted to tell you what a made of awesome job you did.
