"A book that's labeled first grade would never, ever have the word 'fuck' in it. Publishing companies would be flayed alive by parent groups. A book rating system would be seriously detrimental to books sales and the emergence of new…"
"My 21st book was A Seperate Peace by John Knowles. It was wonderful! I read it a couple years ago for school but rereading it made me appreciate the book even more. Gene, the narrator, is so unreliable and restrained and that adds so much depth…"
"I just finished my 20th book, The End by Lemony Snicket. It was beautiful and even though NONE of my questions were answered, I still loved it.
Despite the fact that my original OTP, Violet Baudelaire and Quigley Quagmire,…"
"Looking back, I would say my first fictional crush was definitely Klaus from A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I first started reading in 1st grade. I LOVED him. I was obsessed with Klaus, wanted to be just like Violet, and wanted a little…"
"Before Harry Potter, I fell in love with the Series of Unfortunate Events. My first grade teacher read The Bad Beginning to my class and that was the beginning of a beuatiful relationship with reading (terrible pun is terrible). I've recently…"
"I liked Wake and Fade a lot, but HATED Gone. It was a really disappointing end to the series. I'm not trying to ruin it for you or anything, I just want to warn you not to raise your expectations too high."
"Yeah, my love of book three isn't just about Sirius, either. The plot was terrific and Lupin was also amazing. Haha Dumbledore's Army was just so awesome. They were the best part of book 5. The only reason I didn't like that book was…"
Uh, the super frickin awesome/kinda conceited kind
My name's Jess, I just recently realized that John Green, one of my favorite authors, is on Youtube and started watching it and am now obsessed. I live in your standard boring town. My friends and I regularly go on "Margo Missions" to try to do randomly exciting stuff. Half the time it fails, but that's life I guess. This isn't really an about me, but ok. There isn't much about me.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
I love John Green novels, Slaughterhouse-Five, Macbeth, Harry Potter, Lord of the Flies, Les Mis, A Separate Peace, and the Great Gatsby. And much more that I just can't list. I currently love Inglorious Basterds. Mostly because I just watched it. I'm obsessed with Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, a folk band I just saw in a church basement. Also MGMT. Once again, too many more.

Actually I really enjoy book 3. Not purely because of Sirius. My favorite spell was the Patronous spell, but i have to say the Fifth was my favorite, Dumbledores Army was just so kick ass.
I must say Greek is actually what I have enjoyed mostly because i think the god of love should be called Eros not cupid and i don't really enjoy calling gods the planets. My favorite tale is probably Orpheus and Eurydice.
Hey Jess, I am extremely obsessed with Harry Potter, in fact I am representing Ravenclaw in the Hogwarts House Cup Challenge on Youtube. I do not enjoy Stephanie Myers version of vampires mostly because I believe when they get into the sun they should burn not sparkle. I am usually pretty decent at video games and if you challenge me to Super Smash Bros. you are going down. I enjoy having intellectual discussions on Religion, Books, marine life and ancient mythology. Definitely like Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, and a few cartoons.
