Simply enough, it was one of the first books I picked up and read through as a very young child. It spoke to me very much. The imagery in it is very fascinating and the overall feel of this story is very unique and could probably never be captured by anything else.
That rocks so unbelieveably hard that I don't even know where to begin. That was always a lengendary book for me, growing up. If I ever make connections in the film industry, I am SO going to push for a big-budgeted version full of awesome. ^_^
