How are your studies going? My postgrad is all kinds of fun – we’re going to be given a ‘backstage’ tour of the London 2012 Olympic Site on Wednesday, and (fingers crossed) we’ll be talking with Karl “the K man, head like an effing Orange” Pilkington before Christmas!!
The script DOES look pretty cool; I’m giving it yet another last check over, then I’m sending it to Bethesda. Tell you what, when they love the script so much that they call me out to Maryland to see them, I’ll hop on a Greyhound and come say hi. =)
“Hen” is actually a Scottish term – my paternal Grandfather was a Scot, and I picked up a few words when I spent a summer in Glasgow a few years back. We do use ‘hun’ in England – I suppose the meaning is much the same, I just prefer ‘hen.’ =)
I know, to my eternal shame – I mean, I’m sure I’ve had tea, scones and jam on separate occasions, but never as one meal. And hell yes, if you ever make it to the UK, we’ll go to Tiny Tim’s Tearoom (a little, supposedly haunted place in Canterbury) and be ultra-British. XD
Ah – I was the Master of the Steve Irwin impression in my youth. I can just imagine some wild trek through the jungle hunting stray Potter cast members, armed with large nets and a couple of ice cream cornets. And don’t worry, I won’t read too much into the “Rupert Grint in a Loincloth/Let’s move in closer…” comment. Honestly, no hidden meaning whatsoever. XP
Season 4 of Doctor Who? So Ten and Donna are in the TARDIS, you’ve seen Giant Wasps and Pompeii and the Ood? It was an epic series, with a fantastic finale. Also, the Christmas Special episode was particularly good that year – called ‘The Next Doctor’, featured David Morrissey and the Cybermen. Was one of my all-time favourites.

Anyway hen, hope you had a fantastic birthday; let me know how it all went. =)

Hope all is well with you. Life here is pretty awesome - I've just started my postgrad in Journalism & Radio Broadcasting! Hopefully by next summer I'll be full time with BBC Radio! *Crosses fingers* One step closer to my script on tv! Oh, and I've (finally) finished my FALLOUT movie script. Sending that to Bethesda asap.

My Harry Potter tattoo is on my foot. It's the deathly hallows symbol and under it it says "All was well." It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would! It was kind of like a bee sting over and over.

Also, I'm afraid of needles. :3 ahahahah

I’m sure, after how important Snape/Lily was to Deathly Hallows, it would be a main theme of the Marauders books. Snape’s decent into darkness would be a huge part of the last books of the series – see, if we Nerdfighters can figure all this out, why can’t JK?!

Doctor Who has been FANTASTIC in this last season; there wasn’t a single bad episode. Matt Smith really has proved himself to be just as awesome as Tennant. And lol, textsfromtheTARDIS is a work of genius! The Doctor kept trying to get into bed with Amy & Rory did he? Tsk tsk. X’D
Right, let’s see if I can work this credits thingy…fingers crossed!

Lol, oh yea, I did once hear that cheese comes in spray cans in America! I’m not even sure if that’s scientifically possible, but you’ve managed it! =p And no, no no no, you are thinking of like the Bournville bars! Cadbury’s do make a high coca bar (the above-mentioned Bournville) but most English chocolate is far sweeter. Did you not see the Simpson’s episode when they come to England and Bart & Lisa go mad on chocolate?
Hershey’s aside (Cadbury’s rules =D) there are so many American foods that sound awesome, and yet simply don’t exist over here. These cheesy brats of yours sound incredible, but I can guarantee that there isn’t a single restaurant or supermarket in the UK that sells them. Maybe I’ll go to Comic Con one year, or to the Harry Potter theme park, just to try all these exotic foods. XD
Lol, if you ever make it, we’ll do the whole show. Canterbury Cathedral, Kings Cross, we’ll stop for tea at the Mayflower. =D Of course, a trip to England wouldn’t be complete without stopping for tea & scones with jam…

…I’m not sure I’ve ever had Tea & Scones with jam, but we can skip over that small detail. ;)

We’ll stop by The Grint’s house and buy an ice cream. XD I’m pretty sure the van is still in Hertfordshire, since you’d have trouble parking something that size in London. Lol, ‘scare him away’; as if we’re hunting some elusive animal.

Cheesy Brats…this IS an odd American dish, then? =D I know the UK has a poor culinary reputation in the States; there are so many kinds of food we just don’t get. Still, our chocolate is far better. =p (Oh yeah, I said it) ;)
If you ever make it to the UK, we’ll go on a history tour! (Now who else but a Nerdfighter would think that was an awesome idea?) Of course, we’ll have to incorporate all the Harry Potter landmarks…and take time out to prove that UK Chocolate rules. =p

I think Rupert Grint must be a Nerdfighter…he will be on the Ning somewhere, under a cover name. If I ever see him knocking about in Bluewater, I’ll tell him to ‘friend’ you. =D I’ll keep the cardboard cut-out a secret for now, but you have to promise to hide the bloody thing if I set you guys up! Don’t want him finding that when he drops by to meet your parents. =p

Surely a Marauders series would have to come from JK herself – it just wouldn’t be cricket otherwise. =D I’d love to see Mad-Eye at his prime, battling Death Eaters and losing his eye. The thing is, who would be the central character? Severus? James? Lily?
