Hurricane Irene? State of Emergency In My Town Due To Flooding? Kacki's Not In North Carolina?
Hey.
So, as many of you may know, Hurricane Irene hit the East Coast of the USA this weekend. When it hit my town in Northern New Jersey, it was either a category 1 or just a tropical storm (I don't really remember). The damage at my house/street was not bad at all. Just a flood basement (my basement floods when it gets cloudy) and some small branches. However, about 8 blocks away from my house there's a river,and it flooded. It's actually REALLY bad. Vacation? Vlogging Challange? First Blog on the ning? :D
So, I'm going on vacation with my friend's family on Friday. Carova Beach, NC, from August 26th til September 10th, I'm actually missing two days of school for this trip. I was actually pretty shocked when my parents said I could go on the trip when I told them I'd have to miss two days of school.
