Both Miller’s and Rae-Dupree’s articles focus on the ideal type of person to have in the work force. I don’t fit squarely into either of the groups Rae-Dupree points out, but I would hope that I am what Ms. Dwek describes as “people who believe that talent can be developed … the ones who really push, stretch, confront their own mistakes and learn from them” (Rae-Dupree). The one question we cannot answer by ourselves, and perhaps will never answer. Lear’s Fool told him his shadow held the answer, because that shadow had followed every decision and knew every reason behind it. But it’s rather difficult to ask your shadow who you are.
